Six to seven miles to base camp with a 2,000 ft. elevation gain, makes this a strenuous hike. This trip is an all time favorite of our guides and guests, as well.

Badger Creek-Jedediah Smith Wilderness   FULL

TRIP #4: August 16-19 (4 days)  $825           FULL

TRIP #5: August 23-28 (6 days) $1225          FULL
Bechler to Old Faithful-Yellowstone National Park
This is one of our more unique adventures that we offer. It's a one-way journey beginning at the Bechler Ranger Station, then, thirty miles and six days later, the trek ends at Old Faithful.  You will see and experience an abundance of terrain, wildlife, and habitats all in prime Yellowstone wilderness.  Along with boundless hiking, you will be awe struck by numerous waterfalls, incredible thermal features, inspiring hot springs, one of the largest wilderness lakes in America, and perhaps some trout fishing along the way. This trip includes shuttle service from Old Faithful back to Jackson.  We consider this grand journey moderate to strenuous with ever lasting memories.

TRIP #6:  September 14-16 (3 days) $625           Alaska Basin - Jedediah Smith Wilderness            Teton backcountry hikers agree that Alaska Basin is one of the most beautiful areas of the entire range, and in the entire Rocky Mountains.  It is considered a "classic" Teton hike as we camp and explore the heart of the Teton Range. Promising outstanding alpine hikes and Teton views, this experience will be etched in your memory forever. This has been a favorite of our guides and guests. Hiking is strenuous, but well worth the effort.

TRIP #7:  September 21-24 (4 days)  $825   Yellowstone National Park -                               Bechler Meadows/Dunanda Falls                             This region of the park offers large open meadows, wildlife, geothermal features and cascading waterfalls. Not far from our beautiful Boundary Creek campsite is the magnificent Dunanda Falls.  At the foot of the falls are natural hot pools that invite you to soak in their warm waters. Our day hikes take us to several of the Bechler’s many beautiful waterfalls. We don’t make promises, however, the fall colors can be phenomenal and wildlife plentiful. Count on hearing the elk bugle on this trip. You can’t beat autumn in the Bechler!  Easy to moderate hiking.                          Plan to visit early and enjoy the Fall Arts Festival in Jackson Hole.  Contact our local Chamber for details.
